How does your backup services support my virtual environment?
Our remote backup solution works at the block level, and we support customers running Hyper-V, VMware, RHEV and Virtuozzo among others. For example, in Hyper-V / VMware, you can install one agent on the hardware node and protect all the virtual machines and be able to do file level restoring.
How do I know if my backup successful / failed?
1. An email notification will be sent to the person in charge everyday on the backup job status.
2. Customer may login to Gego Cloud Backup Portal for the backup job status.
Do you offer offsite replication?
Yes, we do. Gego Cloud’s BACKUP SERVER site-to-site replication provides our users with the ability of replicating data from the server to Gego Cloud Storage regardless of your geographic location. Replicated site data can be used to restore the protected server, including its data and server / application configuration.
